“I’ve been here twice now and I’m very impressed.
Had the scallops and mashed potatoes topped with greens tossed in a citrus dressing the first time, which is what prompted me to go back. I ate everything on my plate, it was delicious! Despite Florida being a peninsula, I’ve found that it’s very hard to get good seafood here, but my scallops were seared perfectly and I was very happy with the portion size of my dinner.
Went back for my birthday, made a reservation to sit outside as it was a Friday night (highly recommend making a reservation) and the atmosphere was great. We had a brief wait while they got our table ready, which seemed reasonable as the place was packed, but there was a movie projected on the side of the building next door which was fun and entertaining. My husband and I shared the Curry Chicken with toasted almond rice and sauteed spinach, and a rib eye steak special that was served with rainbow chard and roasted new potatoes. Everything was great, but especially the herb butter on the steak and the crunch imparted to the potatoes. I also love that they serve a variety of greens with their dishes and they are always cooked/dressed deliciously.
The only critique I can offer is of their naan: it’s more like pita bread. Still pretty good, just not with fluffy air pockets like you would expect. A small price to pay for great service, amazing entrees, and solid atmosphere.
Reading the other reviews, it sounds like people are largely disappointed when they order “pub food”/sandwiches and then get the check. Go for dinner. Order a meal. With vegetables. The only other issue might be that the food is portioned for an adult human, which some people who are regularly overfed might find smallish. I like it because I can eat everything on my plate and not feel violently ill, but to each her own.”
